Handrails

We provide a range of handrail attachments and handrail tube – often necessary to comply with regulations and standards – for example when the barrier is installed alongside a pedestrian walkway. When a barrier handrail system is installed in a public place, the handrail must finish 1100mm above the ground level. Handrail tube is galvanised to BS EN 10240.

Handrail extensions can be formed straight or cranked to bolt on to any of our posts. A Handrail Form to any diameter can be included to suit any tube or bar or left without a form and used to support all types and sizes of mesh infill for pedestrian protection. The extensions are made from mild steel and galvanised, the material section would be the same as the post that it is fitted to. The lower panels fill the gap between the bottom of the barrier and the ground and as well as preventing access.
